1. What is copyright? Copyright is the law of the U.S that protects people from thier stuff being used without permission.
2. What is fair use? Fair use allows you to use a limited amount of copyrighted material for you edcational use.
3. Can a student use a picture from the smithsonian musum in their report? Yes,the simthsonian has granted permission to students to use thier photograhs for school reports.
4. What is attribution? Attribtion is a way of giving cedit to a person for there idea.
5. Can I show everyone my school project by putting it on a web page? Not quite.When putting on it on the web then it is being shown to audience.
6. Does it matter how much of a song or video I use in my work?Yes it does matter,you can use about 10% of it but no more than 30 seconds of an individual work.
7. Dosn't the public have the right to use music and art? Yes the public has the right to use music and art.
8. What is the public domain? A public domain is works that are not copyrighted.
9. Can I use picture if they don't have the word copyright or the copyright symbol on them? Just because it has the copyright symbol doesn't mean is not copyrighted.
